I want to see her smile again I just want to be her friend again I just want to make her smile (Just want to make you smile)
Even if it's only for a while Just wanna see her smile Wanna take the frown from her face And tell her she's still in the race
This race called life Sometimes you tremble on the edge of the knife Willing yourself to fall away from the light If you fall, I'll save you from the night
I was too once deaf and blind And no one before could change my mind But your confident hand brought light To my life-hating and pathetic night
For you the event was a mirror Because to you, I brought you nearer I was the angel that, you'd need That would grab your hand and take the lead (you to)
This race called life Sometimes you trembled on the blade of a knife Willing yourself to fall into the night If you fall, I'll pull you into the light
Through all I still care And I wanna see how she'll fair With me no longer there
I want to see her smile again I just want to be her friend again I just want to make her smile (Just want to make you smile)
