It's been a month since I've see your face, held you, kissed you. I read that conversation and find it hard to believe that none of it was the truth but how could you have forgotten me so easily I can't seem to let you go Even though you don't deserve me. I keep telling myself that you're shady but it's hard to forget that look in your eyes...

Hard hitting write, you always strike a chord with these. Nicely done. The ending is haunting yes the look in the eyes.. sometimes that is something we never forget believe me....

Please, please never apologize for spilling what needs spilled. Write, my poetic friend, write away. I find writing to be one of the best ways to heal from the pain and cruelness of other inconsiderate humans who happen to roam this Earth of ours. Being hurt by someone who you thought loved you is just damn painful. Keep writing.
I wish you peace,
Laura |
