It seems to be my lot in life
To fill that certain role:
The role labeled as "the nice guy"
And it's beginning to take it's toll.
They tell me nice guys finish last
While all the bad guys cross the tape
The good guys may be the heroes,
But it's the bad guy wearing the cape.
I'm too nice to be too forward
So as not to scare you away
But the longer I wait
The further from my goals I stray.
I long to have you look at me
The way you've looked at them
I want you to know I'm not just a rock
And that I can be a gem.
I'm a helpful guy by nature
Always willing to advise
But that tendency has led me
To help you with other guys.
I want to be the one you seek
When you feel alone.
I want to be the guy you love.
I want to be your own.
I would like nothing less
Than to make you mine.
Nice guys may finish last
But I'll eventually cross that line.

Well I don't have a clue who she is but she best snatch you up fore someone else does.

| While I agree that nice guys finish last, I don't agree that there are only nice guys and bad guys. There is always a blend of 2 things that hit the spot. Find yourself, and find your center of gravity and never forget who you are. People should love you for who you are, not what you are. |

not always they finish last
ones who havse the shallowness and think they win: LOSE
