What is love?
A question everyone searches for,
Like shadows in the night,
Like the rainbow after the flood,
Something everyone wants to continue to believe in,
Like the blue rose of legend,
Like fairies living in a lake,
Love like ancient stories and childhood dreams,
Like Romeo and Juliet,
Like the princess and the prince,
Love as true as time,
Like the coming of dawn,
Like the pull of the tide,
Love free and innocent,
Like orange kites in the wind,
Like crisp apples on trees,
What is love?
A question everyone needs answered,
Something everyone needs to find,
Something everyone must hold onto,
Least it fly away.
