That Friday evening
Walking into my local pub
My eyes suddenly fixated

The exact embodiment
Of all my lifelong dreams
My idea of perfection!
In love I plummeted
With you my Josephine
My Delilah
My Cleopatara
My lively Carmen
My love.
In a flash we were walking
Together side by side
I told you there
Anything I would do for you!
Thinking maybe foolish
Was I too sudden, too early?
But that Monday Afternoon
You walked out through those doors
And standing before me
You put my mind so at ease
Like nobody else had or will.
Then I knew for definite
Forever it would be You!
Not since has another
Made it past my eyes!
All I see is your image
My ears hear only your voice
My nose longs for your hair
My hands have each other
But feel so alone.
