The echo of footsteps in D-Minor,
fills the room with a part of me,
as I taste sulfuric acid at 8:03.
And so begins the routine,
5 days a week:
I'm sucked in by your beauty.
I'll attempt to abbreviate this:
I wonder how it feels for him,
Everyday, to feel your kiss.
Does he stroke your hair too?
Sinking his fingers through your skin?
Inhaling your sweet scent of saccharin.
I'm sorry but I must tell you this;
with every stare you've given me,
I've delved as deep as I could,
into your amber-hue iris.
Awaking from love-induced dreams I couldn't resist:
where you were the protagonist.
With two glasses of indigo-saturated wine,
Entangled in his smooth, soft arms,
You sang to him your favorite love song.
I'm sure you remember all of this,
Euphoria-riddled sex where you expressed,
Your intense admiration for him.
Were these the instances when,
marriage was just two heartbeats away?
Or have I just stumbled across a few scenarios,
that don't seem to correlate?
Perhaps the answer lies in these false thoughts,
The reason why we remain ten ages apart.
