Need A Day Off!

I need a day to myself,just me alone,
No calls to anyone on the phone,
I need time to sit and think,
maybe sit back with a cold drink,
No boring chores on my list,
I dont care who may insist,
The dishes can sit over night,
the mess will just be an oversight,
I know the floor could use a sweep,
but on my day off I want to sleep,
Tomorrow I'll mop the kitchen floor,
washing the tub is a bit of a bore,
I dont do windows,at least not today,
pick up your sox or there they'll stay,
Todays my day off,I need a rest,
I know you think MOM does it best,
But today is my day as you have seen,
If you want it done call MR.Clean,
I'm sure you know how to use a mop,
You can do more,please dont stop,
I'll just sit here & watch you dust,
Dont worry your cleaning I will trust,
No dinner is done who will cook,
I'm sitting here to read a book,
Wonder what you'd do without me,
These things get done,but you never see!

| lol this was so cute! hehe mine help a little more now 'cause they are older, that was cute about the mop though...i'll never stop anyone from helping either, its always something, great and funny write, huggs and love nessa |
