The weight of love - Lashes and screaming Scars, and even more tears. Is even love worth this?
We always said forever, or never Don't be so sure Even love can die. [And what a painful death it is]
Sometimes All you can do is walk away Without a single word.
Under my breath, You'll hear me say I'm sorry.
Then I'll turn to you, And softly say goodbye.
It's all I can do To save what's left of me Battered and bruised, I can barely stand Much less love.
There's a fork in the road; And we'll both go our lonely ways. Deep breath - Don't cry for me.
So just take one big step Far away from me No more steps of a child, It's time to grow up.
No more tears now I swear it'll be okay Better off.
Don't follow me anymore - You have your own way to go. Please, just let me go.
A tear rolls down my cheek, I swore I had no more tears for you Love never makes you cry But you did.
Try to listen, to understand? I can't do this.
You're better off this way, I promise. Both of us are. We've out lived what was meant to be. Anything more, Only hurts us again and again.
I've cast you out now.
So I'll fade away into this dark background, Won't you let me fade? Won't you forget me? Won't you just... Be happy, without me?
I hope you'll see...
Now I walk away, Whisper my last promises, Apologies and goodbyes.
Goodbye, My Love.
