The Turnstyle

Contributed by Adreana on Saturday, 13th October 2007 @ 01:33:48 AM in AEST
Topic: SongLyrics

Im taking my time
One step on down the road
One foot front, one behind
Easy to let it follow

Maybe Ill go, Maybe Ill fight
Throughout the day, throughout the night
Maybe Ill run, Maybe Ill fall
Throwing my heart against a wall

High or low, I know Ill still be judged at the turnstyle
And I know, I know that survival is not impossible
Ill shake the dust, blinding my nightmares for a while
Blinding my nightmares for a while

The stars are falling
Straight down, again tonight
Their light is streaking
Reflections in your eyes

Maybe theyre from the sky above
Coming to teach us about love
Maybe theyre here to knock us down
Throwing our bodies through the ground

High or low, I know Ill still be judged at the turnstyle
And I know, I know that survival is not impossible
Ill shake the dust, blinding my nightmares for a while
Blinding my nightmares for a while

Maybe Ill go, Maybe Ill fight
Throughout the day, throughout the night
Maybe Ill run, Maybe Ill fall
Throwing my heart against a wall

Maybe theyre from the sky above
Coming to teach us about love
Maybe theyre here to knock us down
Throwing our bodies though the ground
