You heart is the home that I run to
when the world has been mean
and I'm stressed.
Your heart is the home that I run to
when some battle's been won
and I'm blessed.
No day is complete 'till I touch you
and I feel your sweet love touch
my heart.
No day is complete 'till I touch you,
let you know who I am,
become part.
God made us each part of the other;
He joined us through love
and through strife.
God made us each part of the other...
for alway, my husband,
I'm your wife.
Your heart is the home that I run to;
take me into your arms,
kiss me sweet.
Your heart is the home that I run to;
because of you, always,
I'm complete.

Very nicely put and I can relate. I have missed out on a lot of my husbands touch due to him being in the war.........I hope God Bless's you and your loved ones

Dear Fancyface, I truly appreciate the comment on this poem, the only comment being made so far. Yet a couple voted to rate it well. The poem meant alot to me in expressing how I felt about my husband. I hope your husband comes home very soon.
