The Cure For My Sickness

Contributed by OneLastTime on Friday, 19th October 2007 @ 11:04:12 PM in AEST
Topic: EmotionalPoetry

In fear of the future-
I dwell,
Living in this world-
Or is this Hell?

This sickness is killing me,
It has already taken my heart,
It has already taken my soul.
I fear I'm losing control.

My heart is aching,
My hands are shaking.
I'm calling for you,
Hoping you'd make it stop,
Hoping you'd take me in,
Hoping you'd make my troubles be unseen.

Oh, there are sooo many times when I've felt this way. But things get better again after a bit.
I've written so many poems like this during my Depression times and it always gets better.
There are lows and highs, my friend. And they alternate. If we didn't have sadness or other 'down' emotions, would we really know what happiness was?
Anyway, great poem! Keep on writing!
