I looked into a magazine, I saw it pictured there, A heart shaped pewter poem, Reminding me, You won't be here.
You see it says some beautiful words, But I still don't like, Because the words that it says, Doesn't hit me just right.
It says that your no longer with me, You will be sharing christmas with Jesus this year, I am glad your with Him, But then I want you to be here.
So I don't like the pewter poem, Don't like what it says to me, I won't be buying the ornament, And placing it on my tree.
I am glad Jesus has you, If you can't be with me, But I rather the ornament say, That your still here beside me.
