With my eyes
at this moment
I am
listening
to creepy eerie sounds,
I shiver and shake
as unseen hands
slowly
pull my covers down.
In the shadows
I can see
something
silently undulating
and I am feeling a dark presence...
I hear voices
Whispering
ohhhh.
The bed starts to shake
and my sanity is cracking
as a unknown force holds me down,
I struggle and scream
I shout
but no sounds come out of my mouth.
Shadows dance on the wall
and something
creeps across the creaky wooden floor
and I feel like I am moving
in slow motion
although
I ain't moving at all.
This is for real
this is no dream
I yell for help
with silent screams,
the entity is deep inside
I can barely breathe
and I can only move my eyes.

This reminds me of a poem that I wrote called Ghostly Encounter.

C R E E P Y
what a perfect post for this time of year! But it damn near
makes me not want to sleep .. it kinda reminded me of Nightmare
on Elm Street ... just gave me the same eerie feeling. Like falling
asleep and awakening to a nightmare.
Great post. :)
(wish I wasn't almost on my way to bed though .. lol)
