  Social

and all the sick, perverted

Contributed by JohnYamrus on Tuesday, 6th November 2007 @ 12:37:58 AM in AEST
Topic: oops

and all the sick, perverted

bastards of the world
deserve to die an awful,
bloody death

i was picking my dog up
at the vet
today
and while i was
waiting for them
to bring her out
i looked over
at the big white dog on my right
and was shocked to see
it had an ear missing
and part of its skull was gone.

it looked like an old wound
that had healed over
and i nodded at the owner
and asked:
what happened
to your pooch? she
get hit by a car
or something?

nah, he said, shes
a rescued dog.

rescued?

yeah, we found her in
the road, thrown out,
with her ear gone
and her head half torn away.

what happened?

the cop said
they see it all the time.
they figure she was raised
by people who fight pit bulls
and you can tell by looking at her
that shes real sweet
and i guess
when she wouldnt fight
she was
probably just
used.

used?

for what?

bait.

neither one of us
said a word.

i knelt down
and gave her a hug
and scratched her neck
and when i did
she turned real quick
and gave me a great
big wet sloppy kiss.

right on the face.

and all the sick, perverted
bastards of the world
deserve to die
an awful,
bloody death.

i couldn't agree more with you here!

I like the way you've written this as a poem but as you read, it flows more like a story. just sad to know that it's not

John,
I can say your write had me reading right along. You kept my interest with this fabulous, but horrific story. I like the write with it's conversational form.
The subject matter is very hard hitting.
I love animals....man, we're all connected in the web of life. I've adopted two cats from the animal shelter and we just added a Bull Terrier pup to the family. (yeah a Pit Bull) She's a great dog. It is the cruel perverted folks you've touched upon here, that give those puppies a bad reputation. I cannot believe a human gets pleasure from watching two dogs rip each other up. Oh god...I could go on and on.
See what ya did? *smiles*
Thanks for sharing.
Peace and hugs,
Laura

Omigosh ... this actually, LITERALLY made me weep. I know this sort of thing
goes on, but we tend to put it to the back of our minds so that we can go about
our business without completely going insane. I, like laura, am a HUGE animal
lover. It is so painful to read something so inhumane. The people who do this
sort of thing aren't human. If you put them on an examination table, you'd find
they have no heart. I bet they don't even bleed ..

death is too good for them ...

thanks for sharing.
