No One Left To Fool

Contributed by thecyanidesun on Tuesday, 6th November 2007 @ 08:50:24 AM in AEST
Topic: toughstuff

i'm holding on so tight to something that I know ain't there.
i've never heard a sorry and sometimes it's so un fair.
your telling me how to feel because you honestly don't know.
you think you have to be physically hurt to feel some type of sorrow.
i think i learned from you how to never show how I truly feel.
because you showed me that who you are isn't really real.
you pretend to be something your not and play the victim too.
point the finger at me when I should be pointing the finger at you.
you don't think your part of your problem or maybe this is just a rule
part of your plan to seem so innocent but what happens when theres no one left to fool.
you claim that I shut you out or did you just forget all the things that you said.
that my birthday isn't important, that it's always my fault , I'll end up like my dad.
do you remember or did you suddenly forget?
because I know that it will never be something you regret.
you pretend to be happy but I know that your not.
your feelings are meaningless, when did you turn into a robot?.
i can't talk to you and express whats happening inside.
because it's by your laws that I must abide.
you ripped off my wings and left me without the ability to fly.
filled my head with insecurities, forcing me to lie.
and even when the sun peaks through the window to announce another day.
i sit there, wondering how did we get this way?

A most provoking gaze into the face of regret

put there by who realy know's, let alone why

these events in our live's must happen to us

in the first place . . .
