More than Once

I hate you so much it hurts.
It hurts in that place behind my eyes
and in that place where you get a lump in your throat when you are holding back tears.
I want nothing more than to get you out of my sight.
But even that wouldn't be enough.
I can't hurt you if you're gone.
I can't make you hurt like I hurt.
Because you don't hate like I hate.
I hate that.
Why can't we just be angry at each other?
Why can't we both feel this pressure to rip the others head off?
Why do you smile at me like that and say that you understand.
If you undestood
You wouldn't smile.
There would be blood on the ground from our fighting and blood on our hands from our wounding.
But it seems that I'm the only one who hurts.
I'm the one who hates,
I'm the one who is letting it get to me.
It hurts.
And I hate it,
Almost as much as I hate you.

Killer poem! So full of hatred and anger, I felt a sense of rage right from the first 3 words! I love it! I have written a lot of hate poems, but mine are a little more graphic and obscene and they would more than likely not let me post them on here anyway.
