Getting Back At

Contributed by TooPhat on Monday, 12th November 2007 @ 06:29:34 AM in AEST
Topic: oops

Yo what's up is what you always said
But lately you heard something
Besides coming to me with it
You go to my boyfriend instead
What's up with that
I know what you heard
That I messed with your man
So now you tryin' to get back at me
By messing with mine
Well let me tell you something sister girl
You touch you die
That's all I'm gonna say
If you know me like you claim you do
You should have no reason at all to get back at
Why?
Cause you should know I don't want to touch yours
When I have my own
So get this through your thick head
You can't get back at 'cause I never did
But I can get back at 'cause you crossd the border line
Like we have always said
You don't touch mines
And I won't touch yours
But to get this out plain and simple
You touched so I'm gonna touch
No need to get fired up
'Cause it's common sense when I heard you say it, but you didn't know
And he came back and told me also
So who just got played
You did
You punk
Yeah why did you lie when I asked you about what I said
But getting back at
And getting caught up
And thinking
Are three different things
Let me tell you how you saw it
You thought I touched your man
'Cause that's what you heard
You planed to get back at
When you wasn't 'cause what you heard was not true
You got caught up
'Cause you went way beyond the boundaries
Well let me tell you tha truth
Let me tell you how I saw it and know
You thought I touched
Well I didn't
And you know I wouldn't cross the line
You planned to get back at
Well I got back at you
You planned to get me caught up
But you couldn't 'cause it didn't happen that way
Well all I got to say
Is you got caughtup
In your own game and plan to get somebody else caught up
So how does it feel to get caught up player #2

Poetry is much like a great photo, a single "moment in time" capturing many feelings and emotions. Yet, they are very alive; creating stirrings within the readers who form visual "pictures" of the expressed emotions within the Poem. ©
