The rhythm of my heart
as it beats in my chest
with its persistent little thump
it is telling me who is best
The rhythm remains unbroken
as constant as the stars
no matter where I am
the name it screams is yours
A beat you can almost see
the rhythm is always the same
if you listen, you'll know it's there
it is always calling your name
Its shouts are as loud as can be
with both pleasures and pains
overwhelmed with your love
please say my heart's cry is not in vain
The rhythm you control
to you my heart I lend
you could stop the beat
and that would be the end
I can hear it speaking
more beautiful than any art
my love for you forever resonates
In the rhythm of my heart
