Fatherless one
I have a mama but no father looking
for my other half why bother
trying to gain from a lost
but guilt was the employee
and pain was the boss
What can you do when life is shattered like broken glass
how can you go on when life haunts you with the past
daddy i was wrong i should of saved you from your grave
to turn back time is what i crave
how could you leave me feeling like my soul was on empty
no where yo turn so i stood in the fire only to burn
I prayed every night daddy come back hold me tight
Who am i I don' t know I'm confused which road to go
so as i sit hear my heart is heavy weighing as much as a ton
I am no longer your daughter, but your
fatherless one

| Hugs you will always be his daughter and never truly fatherless. He lives in your heart. I'm sure you know that..Write what you would say if he were here..You will learn to hear his voice....Godbless you and give you comfort....Russ |

You'll always be his daughter.Look inside yourself and you'll always find him there.I can relate to your poem on personal level,I lost my father when I was thirteen,many years ago.
You express your feelings so well in your poem.
