We share many memories
I cherish in my heart
I could never possibly begin to explain
How this beautiful friendship did start.
Never forget that no matter what happens
I'll always be here
To encourage you and give you a hug
Or wipe away a tear.
I love spending time with you
Going to the mall
Or just enjoying
A 30 minute phone call.
Just know no matter what happens
Or where I go
You'll always be my best friend
I just need you to know.
I thank God every day
I have you for my friend
And that no matter what happens
You'll always be my best friend.
