If you find me deaddead in my bed Kiss me goodnight For I think I shall sleep awhile
If you find me deaddead at my desk Bring me a pillow For this surface truly lacks comfort
If you find me deaddead in my chair Put a blanket to my chin For the embers will grow cold
If you find me deaddead in a church Carry me pitifully, back to my home For I have surely gone mad
