Do you know how it feels to be so lonely?
To feel like you're always on your own?
Your friends are always there, always near
But they aren't what you're looking for right now
There's that hole deep inside
Threatening to swallow you up
And you feel like you could cry
You smile, you laugh, but sadness floods you
When you see all the happy couples
Love all around
If there's one thing you want, it's to know that happiness
To feel complete
Every once in a while he walks up to you
Smiles and talking
That hole deep inside seems almost filled
And when he walks away, that loneliness is back
Seemingly bigger than before
You wish he'd stay and talk some more
Anything for that loneliness to go away again
He's like a drug, and you're in withdrawl
So lonely, so cold
It's a pain that never ceases
Unless that hole inside is filled

| The pain of breakups and the inevitable doom of being alone for awhile can be so excruciating. I think you’ve made that very clear in this poem, which I believe, is difficult to do. I wish you well in your future romantic endeavors! |

yes i know the feeling all to well
the secret is to fill up the hole yourself
its not easy and it takes time but when you do it is so worth it
