Take me back to places I know I've been before Take me back to memories I've locked behind those doors
Take me to the shoebox I keep under the stairs take me through the darkness To proove that I was there
But never do I see me Never in the frame Nowhere is my face to be No mention of my name
Is it truly me in there Or some strange illusion made Is it just a hardend shell That was bound to fade
So take me back and show me how My life was ment to be Somewhere along these lines I forgot to just be me
For in laughter only silence Is the sound i cant ignore the case of sudden deja-vu like we've met somewhere before

Great rhyming scheme and symbolism. I like this a lot. It's darkly delicate and lovely. |
