There once was this guy
So perfect in everyway
Every way that I thought at the least
His flaws were minimal
Not too many that I had seen
I was willing to give my all
Sacrifice everything
Change my life completely
The only change I hoped to change
Was a bit of light in my day
Something more to look forward to
But then some things changed
In my life
And
In his
And at the same time
We had different hopes
We had different feelings
What we had between one another
Was no longer there
What was once our main connection
Burdened by one anothers emotions
When we used to find relief in eachothers presence
We now find bitterness and miscommunication
How could we get along in any way possible
Maybe through understanding
But mostly through time
Maybe too many differences
Or
Maybe too many similarities
But what remains is ______________- nothing.
