Reaching the point,
Of no return...
Never hurting so badly,
From a lesson learned...

Losing thyself,
Somewhere left behind...
How could I have been,
So completely blind...

A love that shifts,
From what is right...
To feeling like burden,
A thorn in someone's side...

When doesn't matter,
As much as why...
Why did I give in,
To living a ie?

Selfish it would be,
To continue this way...
Hoping for the love,
Of our beginning days...

In your eyes,
I see the pain...
Caused by my ignorance,
You are not the same...

Deserving of happiness,
Laughter, love and more...
I must let go,
Of the man I adore...
