I don't know what I can say,
You've heard it all before,
I'm tired of choking,
On all your pointless lies.
But the guilty can't feel,
The manipulated,
Becomes the manipulator,
I can only feel as bad as I've done.
I thought it would hurt,
More than it did,
I thought it'd pierce my heart,
It can only break so much.
Wasted thoughts of the betrayed,
There's only so much one can take,
Before it's all a meaningless blur,
Forgotten ways to trust again.
And yet, I still love you.

how funny it is that we seem to replicate the ways others treat us and its always us who feel guilt?
betrayal and munipulation are the worst parts of the human soul captured magnificently
