I'm about to break the cycle
Bust straight through the chains
Tear down those walls
And touch the heart that remains
Free the emotions concealed
Melt away the ice
Let the truths be revealed
Don't be nervous, don't be scared
I just wanna visit the place that no one else dared
Set free all the words and emotions that you never shared
And I know it's not your style, it's not your way
You'd rather lock it all up and just walk away
But I'm different from the rest
I know the gentle soul underneath that bullet proof vest
I'm the one who worships the delicate heart inside your chest
And I'm gonna crawl through your walls despite the resistance
And as much you hate this, you have to admire my persistance
See, I just think something truly wonderful should be shown
And your heart is the most beautiful thing that I've ever known
You don't have to run away anymore...you don't have to hide...
Because the ironic thing about this poem is...
I'm already inside.
