Romancing the Razorblade

My razorblade does not make cuts
Cuts that you can see
See, my razorblade is a pro of destruction
Destruction of all that's in me...

...This is far from your typical romance
Miles from what the others consider "home"
Merely a distorted leper
An unfamiliar face - even to myself - unknown...

...A face that longs to show
Through time this obscurred profile will fade
Suffocation strengthens as existence weakens
As I keep romancing this razorblade...

...Trapped in this dark, damp place in my life
I want out, but habits seem to soar
Screaming as the undying razorblade
Cuts at the person I don't want to be anymore.
