If ever i have hurt u
Let me take ur hand
And only as a woman
In front of u i'll stand
Stripped of my insecurities
And waiting to be whole
I'll open up my heart to u
And let u see my soul
But i cannot take away ur pain
And all that u've been thru
I can only hold u in my arms
Not shelter u from truth
In everything this has become
I know ur not to blame
It was over before it started
Gone,as quickly as it came
Just remember that i love u
And just know i always will
I'm waiting for a new tomorrow
But right now,i'm standing still
