sitting in reflected light glimmering from the candle
pondering the visions and the screen they flash upon
images of grey light and friends morning
seeing thoughts of lost souls trapped in confined places
snow and rain the only glimpse of the outside world
the season comes apart for the lonely
the hammering on the walls and the sobs threw empty bottles
the Christmas tree hanging crocked on the wall
fake smiles fill the streets while shop keepers hold from the christmas rage
the music like water torture
plastic jesus on the lawn to empress the neighbors
wasting power to be seen in space
all in the name of a fat man
a marketing logo that has stuck threw time
ho
ho ho ho
and drink coke
