You Got To Have Faith

She looks at me sometimes
And I bet she thinks I'm just a fool
And I swear she'll never love me
Then I try and realise that it will never work

And I try and talk to her sometimes
But I just can't find the right words to say
And I still believe in miracles
Even after so much has gone wrong

Well you got to have faith
It's the most important thing you can have
You got to have faith
Cause with out it there's nothing to hope for
And it's got to be strong
Cause so many things can start to go wrong
It will break the people down that do not have faith in tomorrow
So you got to have faith

She catches my eye sometimes
And then I think that she just laughs
So I can't help, but feel a little down
Now I know I must believe in what tomorrow will bring

And I've tried to tell her how I feel
But my mind goes blank when I get close to her
I still try to think that I still have a chance
And I try to keep my faith alive

And you got to have faith

So I'm not exactly standing anywhere in her life today
But that doesn't really matter
Cause I don't care where I'm standing today
But I care about where I'm standing tomorrow

Life just isn't fair, it can make you feel so alone
And like there's a shadow hanging over you
But you have to keep your heart
And that's only part

Because you got to have faith
It's the most important thing you can have
