after 2 months
of not writing well at all,
i feel it coming back.
im getting stronger.
the words are
starting to have
muscle again.
im 56
and walk with a limp,
but the words
are coming back.
soon,
theyll have
muscle
and sinew
and bone.
now,
the only thing
left for me to do
is wait.

I like this. It's an extraordinary feeling, really... when they start to line up (especially after it's been some time). I love the anticipatory "soon" up there... and, gosh, appreciate the separately and probably (at least partially?) painfully placed last two words.
Here's hoping the wait is a short one,
