I can't go to sleep anymore
It just doesn't seem right
That everyday
Im forced to stay
Awake throughout the nite
I see u in my dreams
And it feels like ur still here
I reach out a hand
To touch u
But somehow u dissapear
Why do i sleep alone
Without u next to me
Toss and turnin
Up all nite
Insomnia gets to me
I wanna roll over
And hold u
But your not there anymore
Your not laying on my chest
And i cannot hear you snore
Sleep comes to me not often
So the nightmares can't begin
But i would gladly stay awake forever
If you'd just come back again

| I know exactly how you feel, I too have written a poem about not sleeping which I will post soon. It is often the timess when I write a little bette. Good read |
