I look down at my angel
She's mourning in pain
She's reaching for me
And she's yelling my name
She's telling me run
Never look behind
But that's hard to do
When her screams
Fill my mind
In the midst of my ruins
As dust creeps around
She's crying her soul out
Her tears stain the ground
The moon fills my eyes
As the night chills my skin
My heart's feeling for her
And it's aching within
Her wings had been torn off
Bloody bones on her back
She was stripped down bare naked
And was left here like that
She had fought her way to here
She was bruised beaten to
Her blackened eyes look right at me
She says I did this for you
I work my way towards her
through my mind
memories mazed
And I finally find her
In my heart in my cage
I kneel down beside her
She smiles up at me
Red trickles down her lips
I think how can this be?
Who did this to you?
As I scoop her in arms
She's coughing up blood
I look at her alarmed
She's wincing in pain
But she's trying her best
to cover up the arrow
shot right thru her chest
I brush back her hair
Away from her face
She says we're inside your soul
your conciousness place
I've battled your anger
I've ran off your fears
I've cared for your sadness
And held back your tears
Guided you through dreams
To awake to see the sun
I am your guardian
And I failed to defeat one
She's growing so cold
And her voice's just a whisper
She beckons me close
saying love was her killer
Both her eyes glaze over
As she gasps to me my friend
I've been with you a long time
But today is my end...
I'm silently crying
As i feel her heartbeat fade
with her last breathe says
I love you
Hope died in me today...
