I carved a heart straight out of steel, Mine just seemed too damn open. To attacks, to theft, and bleeding. This'll stop all that, I'm hoping.
I plugged it in and went to work Telling everyone I know. Some people sneared and called me "jerk". Didn't bother me much though.
Next I decided I'd build a wall, With not one doorway out. Anyone wanting to talk at all Was forced to scream and shout.
Next I put up signs that read: "Leave me the hell alone!" People came in droves instead Most with casting stones.
Deciding I need go one better I picked up a trap or two. Now any who come, quickly leave saying: "You bastard, how dare you?!"
Now I sit all by myself Pretending I don't care. Every so often, though, its frightening When even I don't realize I'm there.
