the place where i go

Contributed by ribbons_and_lace09 on Saturday, 12th January 2008 @ 06:04:02 PM in AEST

it's takes a long drive to get there

out in the middle of no where

out here you wont find the glow of neon lights

just the stars and the moon shining ever so bright

at night you won't hear the noise of busy city streets

just the crickets chriping a lullaby that sounds so sweet

when you go for a walk you'll realize that your not walking on concrete

just dirt and gravel under your feet

i just love the smell of freedom in the air

and the fact that i have plenty of time to spare

i come here quite often to escape the stress of the everday mess

and no one will ever know the place where i go

I live in the country in a valley with a small river running near my house. At night thre is no sound but for the crickets and no lights but the stars and moon so I can relate to this write of yours in a very special way. It is as if I am standing with you in spirit as I read your words. Again it's the simple and honest approach to your writing that touches me.

Very well done

And you shouldn't tell anyone where that place is. My place is in my mind and sometimes in my dreams. I've written about it quite a lot because as you take on more in this life ........ that's all you have to withdraw to. Enjoy your freedom while you can..... Write on !!!! david
