|
foggy bathroom mirrors- pre-flight
light kisses, soft hands
the suitcases on the floor,
anticipatory, anxious
short drive through the freezing snow
flash of diamond in streetlights,
an expensive promise
vanilla and rose, moonlit cello music
intense, immediate absence
so begins the waiting
i hang my self on every passing second
heart breaking, nerves shot
sick with it
not a full breath drawn until your safe return
to Nate
