I really thought that you would care
I thought you were heaven-sent
You really did appear to be mine
Thats my own sweet disillusionment
You were a mirage that had me fooled
Losing myself in the depths of your eyes
The freedom you brought was somewhat short-lived
No more "i love you", forever goodbyes
I lived through your onslaught
And by goddess i'll do it again
I'll never again lay victim
To your evil slight of pain
We are now far parted, friend
By emotions of many years
Your as far away as my heart can stand
And for i, no more silent tears
But i'll still miss you, As is the charm of your eye's, Your Sweet Disillusionment...
