THE ECHO OF SILENCE

Contributed by GINA on Sunday, 9th March 2003 @ 04:40:00 PM in AEST
Topic: LostLove

We finally meet after those long years
Should i welcome you with smiles or tears
Just the two of us in that car seats
Silence broken by my heart beats
All those emotions at once were waken
So much to say...not a single word spoken
Longing for a hug, instead,a mutual gaze
My eyes were speaking what my heart secretly says

Frozen,confused,lost,not knowing what to do
Should i start by saying how much i got hurt from you!?
Can you erase the scars from your indifferent part ?!
Will you gather the pieces that used to make my heart?!

Should i forget like this the pain and the harm
And say i love you while falling in your arm?
Or should i scream, cry ,yell and blame
The guy who is no longer the same?

Spinning around,my mind didn't dare
But to keep silent with a pitiful stare
Then i realised,even this can't be true
Dreams is the only place where i see you

I woke up to find a tear in my eye
Wondering if there will ever be u&I

Beautiful, could feel the tension and pain. Can't dreams torment the soul?

Get real Gina, don't waist your time dream of Mr.perfect, you just might miss him in real life. Other than that, it's a great poem, very emotional
