Life is built on irrational fear, Tension the unknown will soon come near. Most of what we worry never comes about Then why still the fear, why still the doubt?
If we rest, at ease, then tell me do we Live intensely each moment Instead of watching life flee?
Flash, before our eyes. Did we make the most of our lives? Make the best of it, Or just not even try?
Give up- that's not how I think of it. Surrender- no, not to the force of it. Every second remember to fight Cos this time's your own- This time's your life.
To understand your mortality; You are human, Loved, And free.

people like drama, so they invent problems and issues...hyprochondriacs have a word for themselves with their "illnesses". people who invent worries and problems of another nature need a name =]
your style of writing and outlook isnt quite what i care to read, but you at least know the value of grammar and punctuation in poems =]. this seems more like a song than a poem because poems just arent really associated with telling someone what to do, but songs are. and this just had some basic song qualities like rhetorical questions being all over the place. another idea you could try is having someone going through the experience of having an irrational fear and the concluding sentence is a twist, with the reader figuring out that the person was only having a worry instead of an actual event happening. |

ive often thought about this.... i worry a lot but recently i took a running leap off a very high cliff...
i moved 5000+ miles around the world to attend college because i was offered it.... 3 years a go i would have been like no way... i couldnt do that...what if something happened whilst i was gone...
you know what its probably the best thing ive ever done.... yet i dont feel any different about myself... i still worry and i know most of its irrational but its what makes us human after all...
love your work |
