Life,
Like collecting something you favor.
Tiny steps
adventures, the journey that goes at times in a large loop.
Sustaining us
even during the stumble, then the tumble.
Comfort
from things going bump in the night.
Stars shine on
moonbeams glowing, taking our focas to other things.
Gathering,
inside ourself
a collection of thoughts, some fond some bringing agony.
Then
we realize,
it is their problem after all.
Gathering is certain....
Excepting all is each to their own.

We are here to learn and gain strength as our spirit journeys for wisdom ...when we quit fighting ourselves we look inside and find it has been a wonderful adventurous ride....

Hi Shelby;
if you don't mind my offering an opinion...i think why this doesn't work for you is there's really no movement in it. it's just a collection of thoughts and phrases that lead to no real conclusion. it doesn't take the reader from "here to there". it just IS. it has no set-up, and no conclusion. it's just a whole lot of "middle" with no beginning or end. that's tough to explain, but i think you know what i mean. also, in your last line i think you meant "accepting" rather than "excepting. two entirely different words and meanings.
