The rain was at war with the wind And I was at war with the trees That planted themselves on my back Their roots were deep and they thrived off me The rain didnt help and the wind made it heavier But I couldnt do much about it My arms would sooner dislocate Then pull the deep rooted stems out What can I do against what must be fate The most effective action is waiting The action to do nothing As the vines continue to engulf me And so I accept my fate And am bound to the earth
