I can't help but realize
These feelings that I hate
I can't help but hope
These thoughts, they go away
But today they linger alone
Between what was said and what was done
I can no longer stair at the phone
Waiting to hear, waiting to run
Because I'm a believer
I believe in what it was
and I just can't sit here
I believe in what it could be
We talked for awhile
Letting me think you're letting me in
I would've ran a mile
Just to see how you've been
But it must have meant nothing
Would've told anyone that was there
It had to mean something
More then someone else pretending to care
I can't help but feel
That somehow I've been wronged
But I can't help but cringe
At the thought of you hearing this song
I'm a Believer
I believe in who you are
And I can't just sit here
Waiting for you to get scared
