On Me, You Can Depend

On me you can depend,
As youre very best friend,

To hold your hand when youve lost your way,
To fill the silence when theres nothing left to say,

To lead the way when youre left confused,
To heal the pain when theyve left you bruised,

To follow your path when they've walked away,
To brighten youre sky when it fades to grey,

To know the meaning when words cant explain,
To bring youre mind peace when life feels insane,

To simply sit and listen when you need to talk,
Or step outside when you need to walk,

To wipe the tears that drown your smile,
To know the feeling because Ive walked the mile,

To be youre blanket when it gets cold,
To bring you truth when the lies unfold,

To care for you like a friend should,
To care for you like family would.
