The light rose on the mountain and the ebb flowed from the kinder flame by the hearth there Inside the house and around the windows in the house and on the panes on both sides From the hearth stove and between that light and the light from out there The windows dripped with the wet rained and speckled with the red lights The mountains speckled with the wet rained The grass dripped with the wet rained and the dew too The light flew from the sources at the house and from it And the poet writers wrote of these things And the light rose on the mountain And the house was separated from the mountain by the grass field
