pretty, bubbly, fun
you cant have it all
everyone knows you cant have your cake and eat it too
classy, humorous, intelligent
you cant have it all
you dont want to get caught with your pants down, do you?
new, uninhibited, wild
you cant have it all
when will you finally face the music?
differences in each
but you just cant have it all
better be careful, three strikes and youre out
take a shot in the dark
maybe youll get burned
but, just maybe, you will learn
We have feelings too.

Not quite sure what to make of this poem. Do I like the repetitive chorus throughout?
The author's right, you can't have it all. Does the poem end up being the cliche too and is this its intention?
Interesting closing line. "'We' have feelings too."
Who are 'we'?

| Not really sure how I feel about this...it was very interesting to read, but I think this would make a good song, with a few more lines added. |
