You're all I've ever wanted,
but you can't be right for me.
You broke my heart but you'll never know,
because the tears I cry you'll never see.

I've reached a crossroad in my life,
and i had hoped that you could follow.
But you chose a different path,
and left me feeling hollow.

But I will always want the best for you,
So now I must set you free.
And your smile, your scent, and warm embrase,
linger in a bittersweet memory.
