In My Sleep

A world of hope adorns my night sleep liberty and tolerance to escort me to the paradise in my trance; where egos fail to endure and cupidity suffocate.
Love is the sweet fragrance of the blooming tender blossoms, which runs down the root to enhance the fruit that nourishes dream dwellers with simple Godly truth.
War and blood shed never heard off, treachery and backstabbing never known jealousy and hunger a sensation unknown, the place in my dream is for all humankind to know.
Wish not to return from the pleasant world nevertheless, my alarm stock piercingly, yelled to tell, its only a dream. -FRANCO-

Very moving. If only we could turn our dreams into reality. |

Has it been two years already, Franco?? Wow... It seems like only yesterday we met. I've always enjoyed your poetry and I know I always will. Even though I am not here as much, I do pop in every now and then. I am so glad I did tonight.
Hope all is well with you and your son.
A sister's hug...

You know my old friend, I want to live where you find repose. It sounds
so heavenly. There is a comfort we find in dreams that holds our hearts in
hope of better things to come, no? It's unfortunate that we awake to the
cruelty of the world instead of the beauty that is your dream.
Well done, poet. You have captured a soul once again with your
beauty and flowing words.
with respect and admiration,
~ Breezy

I believe God afford us this place for hope and dreams to be for a moment in time a reality until yes we are awaken by the alarm clock...Beautifully written and expressed so well from a heart so tender.
Love,
LindaMary |
