Shut your mouth
Close your eyes
Go to sleep
Don't question 'why'
The darkness falls
It's time to go
No use to resist
Or don't you know?
You cannot escape
No place to hide
No way to run
From this nightmare ride
There's no way to hide
From your innermost dreams
In a land of mist
Where nothing's as it seems
Demon shapes
Leap and play
Don't you wish
For the coming day?
Morning breaks
Escape your mind
Face the dawn
Now you find
A pale death's head
Behind your eyes
The world is deaf
To your anguished cries
So shut your mouth
Close your eyes
Go to sleep
Don't question 'why'
The darkness comes
Will you survive?

I like the way that this flowed together...I can relate to this...Reminds me of a part of my life that I just recently got through. Very nice write. Keep up the good work.
