seeking some cold comfort
in my razor's sweet kiss
yearning for some pleasure
for all the joy i've missed
the happiness of childhood
the innocence of youth
whipped into eternal tragedy
by this world's only truth
happiness is a load of *****
pain is all that's real
bloodletting, and that so-close death
is all that's left to feel
hopelessness has bled it's last
depression's lost it's sting
i'm left alone in this world of clones
only able to feel Nothing
the "just beyond", the "hereafter"
beckoning from afar
leaving behind this hell on earth
getting closer with every scar
yet, now i see the gods' cruel joke
as that last vein just won't sever
no matter how much i cut and bleed
i am trapped here forever

Roy this is one of my favourite poems you've written. I enjoyed this immensely and the rhyme scheme was great. Keep on writing I can relate a to a lot of your stuff... to some extent ne ways.
